During the getting ready portion with the Bride, I found a room with beautiful light filtering in through some sheers in the window. After doing several portraits of the Bride, I thought it would be a great idea to highlight some of the details of the wedding dress. I placed the bride facing away from me so that I could see the back straps and other dress details. By having the light filter in directly from the right hand side, I was able to bring out texture and a lot of shadow and highlight areas to create depth in the image and showcase the dress.
