The dress hanging in the window shot is a popular one. I always try to put my own spin on it whenever possible. In this case I saw beautiful curtain and a large window in the staircase of the Bride's Parents house. We actually needed a ladder to hang the dress but it was worth it. Oliver climbed up on the ladder and hung the dress at the centre of the window and I exposed the photograph so that the backlight passed through the dress revealing some fine lace detail. The result is a dramatic dress photograph that the Bride loved.
