We met for a coffee and tea bright and early on Sunday morning in one of Toronto's most beautiful parks. High Park used to be our second home (well, wait...that sounds a little odd... we weren't exactly sleeping on park benches)...What i mean was that Kristi and I used to live just across the street (in an apartment building :) ) before we bought our house. We still take Watson to the park to the off-leash area almost weekly.

I'm super excited about how things are shaping up. My "experience studio" is coming along nicely and I was so stoked to find a giant box waiting for me this afternoon at my door. Inside was a HUGE 26 by 40" gallery wrap canvas of one of my funnest couples of last year !

Well, 2011 is coming to a close. It’s been an incredible year, full of changes, challenges, ups, downs, meeting new friends, not getting enough sleep, partying, editing, and a whole lot of AWESOMENESS !! From photographing in Mexico to the 10 minute drive to The Boulevard Club in Toronto, the weddings this year have been incredible; such amazing people that I get to call my clients. Liane and Allan were married at The Holy Rosary Church in Toronto on October 22, 2011. It was a beautiful and light-spirited ceremony. Liane looked stunning and Allan looked tall...as usual :) (you looked very handsome Allan)!
We had a bit of time after the ceremony for photos on Church grounds and I could tell that Liane had been practicing her "Vouging" 'cause she simply rocked it!!! Donna and Robert were married at the exquisite Quatrefoil Restaurant in Dundas (Hamilton) Ontario. Their ceremony was very cozy, with close family and friends from as far as British Columbia. Even the groom Himself flew in from B.C. just the night before. Donne looked stunning! The love between these two was very evident, quite simply by the long looks they gave each other while in the moment.

Danielle and Ed were married at the gorgeous Ancaster Mill in Ancaster , Ontario on Friday September 23, 2011. I was delighted to be there to capture their day. I was thrilled when I met Danielle and Ed for the first time; they were super friendly, very easy going and we all really saw eye-to-eye in terms of visuals for the wedding day. I knew there was a little bit of extra pressure, as Ed is a quite the photography enthusiast and I knew I had to go wayyyy BEYOND. The day started in a cozy wedding chapel at Yonge and Eglinton where a handful of close family and friends awaited the arrival of the Bride and Groom. The ceremony was simple and sweet.
Afterwards, we headed to Rosetta McCain Park for photos. This was not a typical wedding shoot - but more of a family photosession with a mix of posed and candid shots.
The kids had a blast chasing the bubbles from the bubble machine!
Back at Maunique's and Luke's house, the guests were greeted with a vegan BBQ, drinks and sweets - not to mention the cotton candy machine!

From the family blessings in the Bride's parent's backyard t0 the surprise traditional Indian dance the Groom arranged especially for his gorgeous Bride - it was a fun-filled day!
Leanne and Alvon were married in Mississauga at Saints Pater & Paul Catholic Church.
After the ceremony, we headed to Mississauga City Hall for photos. The weather cooperated until about half-way through the day. As we were photographing indoors (to take a break from the heat ), we got a crazy downpour and one of our plans to photograph at a soccer field was abandoned - time for Plant B.

We met for our engagement photo session where Liane and Allan met for their first date: Toronto Harbour. The sun was a golden warm and Toronto streets were full of visitors and locals. We took to the Harbourfront Centre area to capture the "fuzzies" between Liane and Allan. :)

"I thought love was only true in fairly tales" - Well, based on Johnny's rendition the the Monkee's classic which he sang to his beautiful bride Mary, LOVE was certainly true last night in Oshawa. What an AMAZING wedding - filled with laughs, tonnes of fun and various musical numbers. Mary and Johnny married yesterday at at St. Gregory The Great Church. The ceremony was followed by some photos at Parkwood Estates and reception at Ajax Convention Centre. Truly an honour to be with such amazing people.

Danielle and Ed met me in this beautiful part of Mississauga called Port Credit. We had a blast during the shoot! Danielle told me during our initial meeting that she is horrified of having her photo taken...Well, I certainly like a challenge - but it really wasn't all that difficult because she rocked it ! ...with a little help from her soon-to-be husband, Ed and some encouragement from yours truly, she just let it all go and went for it ! I’m so thrilled to see my best bud Szymon (or Syz, as I call him) get recently engaged to his amazing girlfriend Dannie. I met his lovely fiancé some 5 years ago and was really happy that they found each other. Seriously, a perfect match! I love these kids!! ...these young whipper-smappers! LOL! OK, this isn't going to be a totally deep post, but I wanted to see what kind of wedding regrets people might have... Now that the wedding is done, what would you have done differently? Now I don't mean "I should have married Joe instead of John"... lol, but maybe things like, "I should have gone with a longer/shorter/less puffy dress" or "I should have tasted the food before deciding on the caterer", or "I should have saved myself the stress and hired a wedding planner", etc.

What an amazing wedding! Sabrina and Dave really know how to party-it-up! The eccentric bride certainly surprised the quests when she walked down the isle dancing to a Michael Jackson tune, with sparkly glove on-hand! She also claimed to be Bat(Wo)man during our photoshoot! lol (scroll down and see if you can find the photo!)
Their fabulous MC (David) started off the festivities with a rendition of "Be Our Guest". The party didn't stop there, the fabulous bride and groom also managed to bring the Stanley Cup to Toronto (great job on the cake Heather!).

I simply have the best clients in the world! Sarah and Derek are two really amazing people and have really been treating me as a friend and not just as "the photographer". I'm having a BLAST with them here in Azul Sensatori resort, in Mayan Riviera (Cancun), Mexico!! They also happen to have an amazing family and group of friends here, who have been just incredible!
Sarah & Derek had a stunning beach ceremony and reception at the resort, which by the way, is spectacular! We have a trash-the-dress shoot tonight and a day left for relaxing! It's been a blast !!!
