Wow - what a show! Incredible set, acting, singing...  I was blown away. Chess was is an exciting musical with music by former members of ABBA :) It is a story of a romantic triangle between two top players chess players and a woman who manages one and falls in love with the other. Oshawa Little Theatre really delivers ! Go see it if you get a chance !

I photographed Patricia in various shows over the last few years and more recently, she was a bridesmaid at a wedding that I photographer a month ago. I had the opportunity to work with the very talented, very young and energetic Mark Rotil. Mark is a Hip-Hop dancer and performs just about anywhere a beat is dropped ! ...and he's real good too! I had the opportunity to photograph this really cool play at Oshawa Little Theatre (O.L.T.) on Tuesday. "Jake's Women" written by Neil Simon centres around Jake, who is an author struggling both with marriage, writing and all the women is his life (both in real life and in his imagination). Pretty funny at points and really well played by the cast. Highly recommend checkin it out. It plays at O.L.T. from September 29 to October 9, 2011.

Had an awesome time today shooting with Todd Hansen, an incredible drummer from Brisbane, Australia. Todd has played, recorded and toured with tonnes of bands, including The Berzerker! To launch his new endorsement by Trick Pedals (Trick Drums USA), Todd called me up to do a quick shoot. James Sheehan from Amplitusion also made a brief appliance... We ate, drank, did the shoot, and I got to hear a bit of some new material from the boys - which, by the way, sounded AWESOME !!!   Here are a few photos from our shoot:

I had the opportunity to photograph the beautiful Kelly Lovatt-Hawkins for the first time back in December 2008. Kelly was the second bride that I've ever photographed. She is a multi-talented actress and I had the pleasure in photographing her over the last few years in various musical theatre shows.   About a year ago, Scarborough Music Theatre put on a fundraiser and I, along with a fellow photographer, Rich Burdett, had donated a headshot session as one of the raffle prizes. Kelly was the lucky girl, and I was the lucky guy!   We had a great time shooting these:
